Hostal On Dormire Valencia

The staff were so helpful, even assisting me with my luggage on my first stay. Highly recommend it and I'm coming back for Xmas!

The hotel is an incredible base for a weekend in Valencia. The room is cheap and bright with tv.

Rooms need better soundproofing!!! The bathroom lighting flickers and is poor!!! A cleaning overhaul would serve this place well!!! Maintenance on the hotel could use attention!!! The reception hours were inconvenient!!!

I stayed from Saturday to Tuesday.1)When I checked in they told me my room wasn't ready,so they put me in a smaller room and suggested to move me to the bigger room the day after.I Agreed,but it never happened.2)There was no hot water for a shower in the evening!3)My room was not cleaned on Sunday.4)On Sunday evening on my way out the receptionist(who couldn't speak a word in English)while he was on the phone,he asked me to wait.I Replied in Spanish that I was on my way to the opera and didn't have time(don't worry the opera is near by he said,you have time!).He said he wanted me to pay the bill there and then(although I was checking out on Tuesday!).After a while he hung up the phone and it took him a few more minutes to print out the receipt.I Arrived at the opera at 19.01 only to hear the opera staff telling me:''sorry,we closed the doors just now!!'' (The opera was starting at 19.00).So I got in after the 1st break at 20.45!When I returned I asked to speak to the manager.The receptionist eventually called him,but the manager didn't pick up.Straight after,the reception phone rang and I heard the receptionist saying my name,my room number and that there was a problem.Then he replied on whoever was on the other line ''. . .No,there is no problem with the bill'' and soon after he hung up.Then he turned to me and said ''. . you will have to wait until tomorrow to speak to the manager!''. I decided not to.I Loved Valencia,but I hated ''On Dormire''.IF Ever in valencia,avoid it like plague.i 've stayed in hotels in more than 45 cities worldwide and this is my 1st negative review:Congratulations ''On Dormire''!

The room was perfectly clean with central heating, satellite television and a writing desk.

Fine overall experience. Modern hotel, all of the staff were exceptionally nice and affable, decent location close to both railway stations. Units with bathroom. Bright design.

The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries. Each day, my room was cleaned well, and fresh towels were provided, very much appreciated. I found the room to offer great comfort and value for money .

A great deal for the price, with a comfortable bed and very clean room. The location is convenient, just a short walk to many restaurants and the city center. The room I stayed in was tiny, and without air conditioning, it became quite warm. The lack of soundproofing was also a downside, as traffic noise was a constant issue when opening the window.

We enjoyed our stay with family, especially the quick bus access to the city center. The staff were really pleasant and helpful.

My kids wished for quieter surroundings.

Great stay for a solo traveler! The bed was super comfy and the daily cleaning kept my room in great shape. Only downside was noise from outside. Earplugs helped!

Excellent staff support and clean rooms. The location is convenient for exploring the city. The free Wi-Fi is a big bonus!

The location is fantastic, just a 15-minute walk from the bullring and Estació del Nord Station, with great bus links nearby. The room was clean and had all the essentials, including air conditioning and a private bathroom. Plus, the staff were polite and helpful.
